Consultation and assessment
We clarify the water body type, shoreline length, soil condition, site access and the result you want.
Gabion structures combine mass, permeability and natural stone. They are suitable for banks with significant erosion or where a more robust retaining structure is required.

Stone-filled wire baskets form a stable but permeable structure, allowing drainage and reducing hydrostatic pressure behind the face.

Gabions are effective where a heavy, stable and water-permeable structure is required. The stone provides mass while the mesh keeps the blocks together. Because the system is relatively flexible, it can accommodate small foundation movements better than a brittle rigid face.
Durability depends on foundation preparation, mesh quality, lacing, stone grading and protection against soil washout. Geotextile commonly works as a filter behind the gabions, while the lower course requires a stable base. Taller banks need stepped geometry and overall stability checks.
We provide the complete service: initial shoreline assessment, site-specific method selection, bank preparation, installation and handover of the finished reinforced shoreline.
We clarify the water body type, shoreline length, soil condition, site access and the result you want.
We evaluate slopes, water level, erosion and loads, then select the structural method and installation approach.
We prepare the shoreline and complete the installation works using the selected method or combination of methods.
We complete the shoreline, inspect the installed structure and hand over the finished result.

The price depends on shoreline length, slope height and angle, soil, site access and the selected technology. Photos, location and an approximate length are enough for an initial estimate.
Geogrid works well for stabilising slopes and vegetated banks. Gabions are suitable where a heavier erosion-control structure is required. The methods can also be combined.
Often yes. The installation method depends on water level, access and the chosen system. We decide this after assessing the site conditions.
Yes. ShoreGuard undertakes shoreline reinforcement projects across Ukraine where logistics and site conditions allow safe installation.
Service life depends on materials, installation quality and environmental loads. Correctly designed geosynthetic, gabion and sheet-pile systems are intended for long-term use.
Leave your phone number. We will ask about the water body, shoreline length and site conditions to make a preliminary assessment of the turnkey reinforcement works.
